Closed suppliers (8)
- Chemyo (chemyo.com) — Homepage and about page now show only a closure notice: Chemyo LLC permanently closed September 8, 2026, fulfils pre-closure orders, takes no payments, and warns of impersonator sites with a report tool. No historical catalog, testing, location or pricing data could be verified (archive access unavailable; Finnrick has no vendor page; Trustpilot returned HTTP 451). No FDA warning letter naming Chemyo was found.
- Paradigm Peptides (paradigmpeptides.com) — Legal entity Paradigm R.E. LLC (paradigmpeptides.com), owned by Matthew Kawa. Homepage returns 403 and CBS News reports the business shut down in March 2024; all profile data comes from FDA, DOJ and news sources. Kawa pleaded guilty (2025-12-10) and was sentenced 2026-07-30 to 70 months for selling unapproved drugs including BPC-157 and testosterone-adulterated 'SARMs' imported from China/India, with forged lab certificates despite advertising '99% purity and third-party lab testing'; customers were in all 50 states and 80 countries (April 2019 to March 2024). The hyphenated paradigm-peptide.com (Finnrick: separate, recent, privacy-protected domain) and paradigmpeptides.is are distinct operations and not profiled here.
- Peptide Sciences (peptidesciences.com) — Not operating in 2026: multiple independent write-ups report that peptidesciences.com replaced its store with a voluntary-shutdown notice at about 2:00 PM ET on March 6, 2026; the homepage returned HTTP 403 on 2026-10-19 and the Trustpilot page returns HTTP 451. Pre-closure details (Henderson, NV address, 100+ product catalog, payment methods, COA-per-batch claim, 2023 FDA letter) come from a single secondary article (ThePeptideList, which runs a competing directory) and were not verifiable on the vendor site. No pricing or testing fields could be verified.
- Proven Peptides (provenpeptides.com) — Confirmed closed: provenpeptides.com returns HTTP 522 on every attempt and no live storefront exists. A review site (peptidedossier.com) states the vendor operated roughly 2012-2024 and went offline in late 2024 without notice; it cites no primary evidence. No FDA warning letter addressed to Proven Peptides was found in search results. All catalog, pricing and testing fields are unknown because the site cannot be fetched and the Wayback Machine is blocked in this environment.
- Rats Army (rats.army) — The domain loads only a parked placeholder, so the store is gone. A January 2022 third-party review page (which promotes Sports Technology Labs) carries a note that Rats Army closed in April 2022, locates it in Kalispell, Montana, and describes a SARMs/prohormone/peptide catalog with free US shipping over $99 and a money-back guarantee; none of this could be verified from a primary source. Location fields are from that page only. No FDA warning letter naming Rats Army was found; Reddit presence noted via r/sarmssourcetalk citations on the same page.
- Science.bio (science.bio) — Confirmed closed: science.bio now shows only a notice that the company decided to permanently close and discontinue the sale of research products, with no date given. Finnrick's June 13, 2026 vendor report places the final shutdown in January 2026, cites California correspondence addresses and a North Las Vegas import footprint (no HQ stated), found no public FDA warning letter, and records a 42% pass rate across 12 tests. Historical catalog, testing and pricing could not be verified (archive access unavailable).
- Strate Labs (stratelabs.ca) — Canadian research-chemical vendor (per Peptide Protocol Wiki, last verified 2026-02-11) that ran parallel .ca and .is storefronts and sold peptides, SARMs, capsules and topicals with free domestic shipping over CAD 250. As of 2026-10-19 the .ca domain no longer resolves and the .is domain redirects to GL Peptides, consistent with community reports of a mid-2026 closure, so status is recorded as closed. The wiki records a May 2024 default judgment in an Eli Lilly civil action and an ITC investigation. No COA, pricing or payment details could be verified on a vendor page.
- Swole AF Labs (swoleaflabs.com) — The Swole AF Labs storefront no longer exists: swoleaflabs.com permanently redirects to rcs-research.is, a gated 'RCS Research' site that shows only login/application forms, a US-based-support claim, 'Since 2018', an RUO disclaimer and a help@ email, and does not mention Swole AF. Third-party blogs say the brand became SAF Research/SAF Peptides and disagree on whether it is US- or UK-based; the publiclab.org post cited for this returned 404. The RUO disclaimer and 21+ gate recorded here belong to the redirect target. No FDA warning letter naming Swole AF Labs was found (a 2022 letter to Steel Supplements covered unrelated '-AF' supplement names).
Signals we treat as red flags
- No certificate of analysis anywhere on the site, or a single undated "sample" certificate reused across products.
- Certificates that name no laboratory, or a laboratory that does not exist outside the supplier's own site.
- No company name, address or phone number; contact limited to a web form.
- Product pages that make health or treatment claims while the footer says "research use only".
- Payment limited to irreversible methods (crypto, wire, peer-to-peer apps).
- A trust-site profile that was removed for guideline violations rather than never created.
Frequently asked questions
What is an FDA warning letter?
A public letter from the US Food and Drug Administration telling a company that the agency believes it has violated the law, usually citing specific products and web pages. It is not a court finding. Companies may respond, and some keep operating. We record the letter date and link to the original on fda.gov.
Does a warning letter mean the products are unsafe?
Not by itself. The letters we have seen in this category mostly concern how products are marketed and classified. We treat a letter as a heavy negative in the track-record factor because it is public, verifiable and regulator-issued, not because we have tested anything.
Why keep closed suppliers on the site?
Old forum posts and review lists still recommend them. A page that says "closed" with a date saves readers from sending money to a dead storefront or a domain squatter.
