A supplier that no longer exists, and why
Paradigm Peptides was the storefront of Paradigm R.E. LLC, a company owned by Matthew Kawa with an address in Bourbonnais, Illinois and, according to the Department of Justice, a shipping operation in Michigan City, Indiana. It sold BPC-157, Thymosin Alpha 1, hCG and SARMs in vials and capsules, advertised 99 percent purity and third-party laboratory testing, and for several years appeared on recommendation lists across the research peptide market. It no longer trades. CBS News reports that the business shut down in March 2024, and when we opened paradigmpeptides.com on October 19, 2026, the server returned HTTP 403.
Everything in this review comes from the FDA, the Department of Justice and news reporting, because there is no longer a supplier site to read.
The regulatory and court record
The first public mark against the company came from the FDA. On December 7, 2020 the agency issued a warning letter to Paradigm RE LLC concerning Thymosin Alpha 1 marketed with COVID-19 claims, which the letter described as an unapproved new drug and misbranded. The letter is published at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/paradigm-re-llc-612014-12072020. We describe it only as far as the record does.
The criminal case followed. According to the Department of Justice for the Northern District of Indiana, Kawa pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025 and was sentenced on July 30, 2026 to five years and ten months in prison. An employee, Jennifer Stechkober, received one year and four months. A forfeiture of $5 million was agreed and restitution of $78,317.52 was ordered. Prosecutors stated that the peptides, SARMs and hCG the company sold were unapproved new drugs, that products sold as SARMs contained testosterone, and that the material was imported from China and India. The DOJ describes sales to customers in all 50 states and 80 countries between April 2019 and March 2024.
The fact that matters most for readers of this site is the one CBS News reports from the plea: Kawa admitted that the company forged its laboratory certificates of analysis. Paradigm’s testing claims, the 99 percent purity and the third-party verification that appeared on its pages, were not backed by real documents. The record marks third-party testing as absent, and for once the absence is a matter of court record rather than inference.
What readers of older lists should know
Any entry for Paradigm Peptides on a recommendation page written before 2024 should be treated as void. The company is closed, its owner is in federal custody for selling the products it recommended, and the certificates that lent those recommendations credibility were, by the owner’s own admission, fabricated. There is nothing left to evaluate.
Two practical warnings remain. The company’s Trustpilot page returns HTTP 451, so no review history can be consulted. More importantly, two domains with similar names, paradigm-peptide.com and paradigmpeptides.is, are now operating. Finnrick describes the hyphenated domain as a separate, recently registered, privacy-protected site. Neither is the closed business, neither inherits any history from it, and neither is profiled here. A buyer who encounters either should evaluate it as an unknown new storefront and not as a continuation of a brand that, even when it existed, was not what it claimed to be.
