American Research Pens review

americanresearchpens.com · US
OperatingRank #32 of 49Updated 2026-10-19

Verdict. American Research Pens describes a thorough testing program and publishes an unusually detailed payment policy, but at the time of our check it had not published a single certificate, had not named its laboratory and had not published a street address or company name. Until the first lot report appears, the testing claims are promises rather than evidence, at prices roughly double a comparable pen supplier.

Who they are and what we checked

American Research Pens is a US seller of pre-filled research pens rather than vials. The catalog is small and tightly defined: ten listings, all pens, covering BPC-157 alone and with TB-500, CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, MOTS-C, two blends sold as GLOW and KLOW, and two GLP-class items sold under the coded names GLP2-T and GLP3-R. The company does not say where it is, who owns it or when it started. The one thing a reader should know is that the testing program is described in more detail than almost any supplier we track, and that none of it had been published at the time of our check.

We read the site as a buyer would before a first order. We opened the lab-reports page and the certificate page, read the about page for a company name or address, worked through the shipping, payment and refund policies, checked for a research-use disclaimer, and searched Trustpilot and the public record. The findings below come entirely from those pages. Readers who know the Peptide Perfection catalog will notice that the lineup and coded names here match it closely, at roughly double the prices, a point we return to below.

A testing program on paper

The lab-reports page sets out exactly what the company says it will test for. Purity is to be measured by HPLC-UV, endotoxin by the LAL method, residual solvents by GC-MS and heavy metals by ICP-MS. That is a fuller panel than most suppliers describe, and if it is carried out and published it would place American Research Pens in the top group for scope. The homepage states that every batch has a certificate of analysis, and a banner promises purity of 99 percent or better guaranteed per batch.

Then comes the problem. As of October 19, 2026, every lot entry on the lab-reports page read either “Not yet assigned” or “Certificate pending first lot”. No document could be opened. The page also says the testing laboratory will be named “once the first lot is released”, so there is no lab to look up either. We record third-party testing as limited and the public certificate status as unknown, because the only honest description of the library is that it does not yet exist. The contrast between a homepage that promises a certificate for every batch and a reports page that has none is the single fact that most shapes this review.

That matters because a buyer has nothing to check. With a vial supplier that posts an undated sample report, a buyer at least knows what the lab format looks like. Here the planned methods are the whole of the evidence. In practice, anyone ordering today is relying on the company’s word, and that word is being asked to carry prices at the top of the market.

The company, the prices and the fine print

The site publishes a phone number, a support email and support hours, and it carries a research-use-only disclaimer. It does not publish a street address, a company name or any founding information, and it claims no GMP or ISO certifications. No Trustpilot profile exists for the domain. We found no FDA warning letter naming the company. For a seller at premium prices, the absence of a company name is a bigger gap than it would be for a budget storefront, because there is nothing to search when something goes wrong.

The payment policy is the opposite story, and it is the best-documented page on the site. Cards are accepted. Wire and ACH transfers earn a discount. E-check is offered, and so are BTC, ETH and USDT. The policy states plainly that cryptocurrency payments are final and non-reversible, and that a refund on a crypto order comes only as store credit. A buyer who wants chargeback protection should pay by card and accept the small premium over the bank-transfer price.

Prices sit at the premium end of everything we track. The 10 mg BPC-157 pen is $249.99, the BPC-157 and TB-500 pen is $279.99, the 100 mg GHK-Cu pen is $189.99, the 10 mg MOTS-C pen is $289.99, and the 10 mg GLP3-R pen is $299.99. The record notes that a comparable pen supplier lists a 10 mg BPC-157 pen at $129.99, so the markup here is roughly two to one. A buy-one-get-one promotion was running during our check, which narrows the gap for anyone buying in pairs but does not close it. Free shipping starts at $250.

Orders paid before 4:00 PM Pacific ship the same business day. Ground delivery takes three to seven business days, and two-day and next-day express are offered. Shipping is to US addresses only. The refund policy is fair as far as it goes: a damaged pen, a wrong item or an order that never arrives gets a refund or a replacement, and photos may be requested. There is no refund for a change of mind on an opened pen, and a customer error can be corrected only within a three-hour window after ordering.

Bottom line

American Research Pens has written down a serious testing program and an unusually clear payment policy, and it answers the phone. What it had not done at the time of our check was publish a single certificate, name its laboratory, or tell buyers who and where the company is. Those three absences, set against prices about twice a comparable pen supplier, make this a storefront to watch rather than one to order from today. If the first lot reports appear with a named laboratory and the promised HPLC-UV, LAL, GC-MS and ICP-MS results, our view will change quickly. Until then, a buyer who wants a tested pen has a cheaper and better-documented option, and a buyer who insists on ordering here should pay by card.

What we liked

  • The payment and billing policy is published in full and lists cards, wire and ACH with a discount, e-check, and BTC, ETH and USDT.
  • The lab-reports page names the planned test types, HPLC-UV for purity, LAL for endotoxin, GC-MS for residual solvents and ICP-MS for heavy metals.
  • A phone number, a support email and support hours are published, and orders paid before 4:00 PM Pacific ship the same business day.
  • The refund policy covers a damaged pen, a wrong item or a non-delivered order with a refund or replacement.

What we would want fixed

  • As of October 19, 2026 every lot on the lab-reports page read 'Not yet assigned' or 'Certificate pending first lot', while the homepage claimed a COA for every batch.
  • No laboratory is named; the page says the lab will be identified once the first lot is released.
  • No street address, company name or founding information is published, and no Trustpilot profile exists.
  • Prices are about twice those of a comparable pen supplier, with the 10 mg BPC-157 pen at $249.99 against $129.99 elsewhere, and cryptocurrency payments are final.

Frequently asked questions

Does American Research Pens publish COAs?

Not yet, as of our check on October 19, 2026. The lab-reports page lists the test types the company intends to run but shows every lot as 'Not yet assigned' or 'Certificate pending first lot'. The homepage says every batch will have a COA, so the gap may close, but at the moment there is nothing to read.

Is American Research Pens third-party tested?

The company says its pens will be tested by HPLC-UV, LAL endotoxin, GC-MS residual solvents and ICP-MS heavy metals, and that the laboratory will be named once the first lot is released. We could not confirm any testing because no report had been published at the time of our check.

Where is American Research Pens located?

The site does not say. It publishes a phone number, +1 (888) 712-4689, a support email and support hours, and it ships from the US to US addresses only, but no street address, city or company name appears anywhere on the site.

How much do American Research Pens pens cost?

The 10 mg BPC-157 pen is $249.99, the BPC-157 plus TB-500 pen is $279.99, the 100 mg GHK-Cu pen is $189.99, the 10 mg MOTS-C pen is $289.99 and the 10 mg GLP3-R pen is $299.99. Free shipping starts at $250 and a buy-one-get-one promotion was running at the time of our check.
